Dr Peter Botha is a compassionate and dedicated orthopaedic surgeon who is deeply committed to his personal and professional development in the field. These experiences have shaped who he is today and fuelled his passion for the field.

Dr Botha's passion for orthopaedics is evident in his broad scope of experience, with a special interest in upper limb surgery. His expertise extends to various specialities in orthopaedics, including paediatric orthopaedic surgery and arthroplasty, among others.

Dr Botha's extensive training is a testament to his dedication and expertise. He completed his orthopaedic speciality training at the University of Cape Town, Groote Schuur Hospital and Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital. He also undertook a twelve-month clinical Fellowship in Hand and Wrist Surgery, which provided invaluable experience in trauma hand and wrist pathologies.

Dr Botha graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) and received a Master of Medicine (MMed). His professional experience in the field, along with his impressive qualifications, has equipped him to deal with complex cases.
